Get Involved! There are many ways to support FSO. Become a member, get educated and become an advocate to save an endangered species or make a small donation. Donations support FSO to continue testifying in Washington, D.C., working with congressmen, senators, California legislators, state and federal agencies, the scientific community, Fish and Wildlife Services, and non governmental organizations and to collaborate with our allies to preserve the sea otter and sustain current sea otter conservation programs. |

Marine Water Monitoring
“Being a water monitor volunteer for marine biotoxins has been a great experience! I really enjoy going out to collect my samples and learning how to identify the different diatoms and dinoflagellates. I also felt like I was contributing to an awesome cause - collecting/looking at samples so we can protect shellfish consuming organisms, from the marine mammal population to our community of people who enjoy seafood.
